Northern Scot newspaper - Completed, thanks
« on: Sunday 16 March 08 11:48 GMT (UK) »
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to access the original newspapers of between 1914 and 1918 of the Northern Scott.   About three years ago on my last visit to Elgin I  extracted two articles which inclued photos from the micro fiche but they are not too clear.  If the original newspapers were available I would try and take a digital photo if that was possible.

I don't know about access, but  you could write to them.

The link with contact details is: http://www.northern-scot.co.uk/info/contact_us.php

You could also try the Heritage centre in Elgin, I wrote to them once and they sent me photo copies.

They too sent me some stuff.

Thanks for that.

I will contact Libindx and see what they say.  It was from them that I got the copies from the micro fiche but the photos are not too good.  Mind you better than nothing.
Thanks
