Star Laundry Wakefield 1940/50s
« on: Sunday 16 March 08 21:49 GMT (UK) »
Could anyone help me to find out any information about the star laundry in Wakefield. I believe it was owned by two brothers called Percy and Bill Rhodes.  Some of my family worked there in the1940/50s and I would love to find out anything. I believe one of the brothers was a governor of the Holy Trinity Boys School in Wakefield.

Many thanks to anyone who reads my request.

Kind regards Susan

Hi Susan - Did you manage to find anything out?  I had a (Very) distant relative work there in 1939!
