I am trying to find information on William D Powell born Sydney Australia 1894 and reported to have died Penarth Wales in 1946, any details i.e Mother / Father / Wife / Children would be of great assistance.

There's a marriage of William D Powell and Flora Kessack in 1918
Marylebone volume 1a page 1381

This certificate would provide their Father's names and occupations.

There are 3 possible children which you can check out on freebmd search.

Can't find an obvious death record though

Just found a death of William D Powell but in 1958 age 65
East Glamorgan 8b volume page 309

Not sure whether this is the right person but he is the right age, and I found a marriage for his daughter in the same district.

Again thanks, looks all about correct, this is the wifes family, doing it for my sons, interesting family the Powells, related to the Drakes (the D in the name is Drake) not the Sir Francis line but one just as interesting as they were fairly high up being related to Lord Melbourne. I was lucky to find a person who had done the family as a thesis so save a lot of the early work.
