Stutton Grove School was a boarding school teaching "classical and commercial subjects to young ladies and gentlemen", established by William Stacey in the 1850s at the Stutton end of Garnet Road near Tadcaster, Yorkshire. You can see the large country house still called "Stutton Grove" on "Google Earth".

Stutton Grove Academy near Tadcaster  - Mr.Stacey M.R.C.P. begs to inform his friends and the public that to his resident Classical, Commercial and French masters, he has added an eminent German Professor. Resident teachers 5, non-resident 1. A few vacancies occur owing to pupils having completed their education. Terms for Board and Instruction from £20 to £26 according to age. The next session will commence July 18th.

And a year later, in The Sheffield and Rotherham Independent  30.6.1855                                             
Wanted after the Recess in a large respectable boarding school, a young man experienced in tuition to assist in the General Commercial work. He must be a good Penman, thorough Grammarian and a sound Arithmetician. One who has a knowledge of music and a Wesleyan preferred. Apply to Mr.Stacey M.C.P. Stutton Grove Academy Tadcaster. The duties of the next session will commence July 19th. There are only a few vacancies. Prospectuses on application as above.
