From a recent posting on the World War 1 Forum, it stated the the IRC were not now charging for enquiries regarding WW1 POW's.

hi knellie.hope it helps your inquiry. and thanks also wyndham. for your comment . cannot get on the war forum .for some reason .tried so many times .gave up.keeps saying e-mail already belongs to some-one , of course it does its mine.i find this site answers all my needs ,
 so if other inquirys are free more the better .

Thanks everyone so much - for so long I've had a photo which has fascinated me - now a whole person has come to life! My mum said that the photo was "Sam - he was in the guards." I didn't know where to look! Many many thanks.

How did you find details of marriage and where they lived and good conduct badges Mack ??? You're brilliant ;D
