Looking for the birth and parents of John Cleverley, born Melksham c.1842

He married a Julia ? in March Quarter 1863 in Westbury. Wife not listed on FreeBMD.

I have found these on BVRI2:

John Cleverly bapt 27 Mar 1842 Melksham parents Robert & Louisa Cleverly (FHL film 1239376) no siblings shown.

Robert Cleverly age 19 (father Thomas) m Louisa Hughes age 19 (father John) 4 Oct 1841 Melksham (FHL film 1279377)

But be aware of this marriage as well:

John Cleverly age 21(father Thomas)  m Joanna Parsons age 24 (father Job) 6 Feb 1841 Melksham (FHL film 1279377)

They produced 2 children: Sarah bapt 29 Aug 1841 and William bapt 30 Nov 1845.

May be relations. No sign of John's marriage - sorry.

John Cleverly was born 1842/Mar; Melksham; 8; 371.  His parents were Robert Cleverly & Louisa Hughes.  There was only one child as she died in 1842.  I think she may have died from childbirth but don't know.  Robert married Matilda Crabb 24 Nov 1845, had 2 children and migrated to Australia 28 July 1863.  John did not migrate with them.  They are my rellies.

John Cleverley married Julia Sadler 1862/Jun; Highworth; 5a; 34.  In the 1881 Census, she and two of her children were staying with her parents Richard & Esther Sadler at Wroughton.  Her son Jesse Sadler Cleverley mentioned in the 1871 Census died 1871/Sep; Highworth; 5a; 10?  aged 3.
