Hi Cas,

Do you know how old he would have been in 1901?

In Middlesbrough, there's a 2-year old Thomas E Simpson born Middlesbrough. Dad John was born Middleton on the wolds and mum Mary was from Durham.

(shout for details if you don't have access to census)

hi tati
that sounds like him. I've been trying all morning to find him, I thought he was born 1898 and that would tie in. Thanks for that, have you got an address on that info?
