By coincidence, I was in Dalehead on Easter Monday - and on the site there are a load of pictures of the building of Stocks reservoir. The replacement church, which I last visited 20+ years ago, has had a facelift, and now boasts electricity, provided by a wind generator!

It's still in the middle of nowhere, though obviously loved by many.
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.
