Hi

If you think your great uncle served before WW1 you would have to check out his attestation papers at The National Archives at Kew.

Or, do you think he served in WW1!  If so, did he survive the war do you know?

Frank/Francis Wilson is a quite common name.

Reply for Atom and Annie.
Frank Wilson enlisted for WW1, as far as I know he did not enlist prior to the war. Frank survived the war and died in Chippenham, Wilts .1960. I have the death certificate of one of his children who died in 1915, on the certificate  it says Frank Wilson private in the Welsh Regiment.
Annie, yes!, that is where I obtained the info, obviously that piece could be wrong, but I think at some stage his daughter gave me his number 47441, but I might well be wrong on that account.
 Hope you can help

 Many
 Thanks Ken
