Hi Jane,

I won't be buying anymore!
I only had 1 little stray rellie who went up to Scotland and married, had one child--husband died--went back to England!
I am certain there are no more and I didn't want the credits to go to waste.
Cheers,
India

Hi India

Thanks for the offer.

I'm looking for a marriage (or proclamation of Banns) in Berwickshire between 1835 and 1840.

John YOUNG born about 1818 Northumberland.
Elizabeth LINDORES born 1817 Chirnside, Berwickshire.

John parent's are unknown.
Elizabeth's parents are John and Margaret LINDORES.

Their first known child was born Berwick NBL in July 1840 but I've been unable to find their marriage in English records.

This couple criss crossed the border and several later children were baptised in Hutton, Berwickshire.

Is that enough info - please let me know if you need anything else.

Many thanks

Hi Helen,

I searched for your people every which way---from 1800 to 1880 and there is no record of a marriage between a YOUNG and LINDORES . Maybe they never bothered with the formalities!!!

Sorry   :'(
