I have just learned that my great uncle Edward Thomas Embrey emigrated to Canada on board s.s. Minnedosa in June 1919, sailing from Liverpool to Quebec.  Can anyone help with info on what happened to him thereafter?
His brother William had emigrated in 1903 and lived first in Alberta and later in B.C.
Thanks, Kathryn

On the Canadian archives site (http://www.collectionscanada.gc.ca/) you can see him on page 34 of the manifest. He is on the page of 'military dependants', listed as Edward T. Embery, 13, heading to his father Wm. in Vancouver.  It appears this would be the same Edward listed on his father's attestation papers as nok:

His father seems to have remarried in Vancouver in 1918, and died in Hatzic in 1961.  Edward Thomas/Thomas Edward Embrey died in 1966, in Mission City, aged 61.

The Edward Thomas Embrey who was the brother of William apparently married in 1896, and is on the 1901 census in Aston Manor with wife Nellie (nee Baker) and children Arthur E. and Ernest.  Freebmd shows they may have been having children up to 1914 (there are sons in 1912 and 1914 with mother's maiden name Baker).

One of Edward Thomas' sons died in WWI:
