Hi
I am looking for descendants of William Ridsdale, father and son were  Heckle & edge tool manufacturers at Commercial Street, Darlington.
I would be interested to learn more about the business, others who worked there for example.

William Senior's brother was Laurence Ridsdale, both are mentioned in a very interesting article written by Gillian Cookson 'The Leather Industry from c.1600' at durhampast.net.
