Hi,

I wondered if anyone can help me.
I have just decided to start my family tree and am currently looking for the service record of my grandad Francis Joseph Connor. I have found him on the CWGC and these are his details:

Royal Artillery
Rank: Warrant Officer Class II (B.S.M.)
Unit Text: 92 Lt. A.A. Regt.
Aged 32
Date of Death: 25/07/1944
Service No: 4123325
Casualty Type: Commonwealth War Dead

If anyone could give me detals of his service record I would be very grateful. In fact if anyone could provide me with any information at all with regards to him, his unit etc etc then I would be very very grateful also. Both my father and I know nothing about him at all so any information would be great. :)

Thanks in advance! :)

Hello,

I'm not sure you have the right Francis Joseph Connor here. I have a lot of information about Francis Joseph Connor, so if yo get in touch with me we can compare records to see if we are looking at the same person.

All the best!

If you are applying to Glasgow for your grandad's service history be prepared to wait for ages. We have
applied for my grandad's and my mum just recieved a letter telling us it would 9 to 12 mths but worth it we hope.
