« on: Sunday 23 March 08 18:50 GMT (UK) »
Hi, anyone know of a link where I may view archive photos of Whipsnade Zoo if there are zookeepers in the photos even better, mainly interested 1939-1960.

Hi

There is a small photo of a keeper (in the background) with elephants.

Sorry that link went haywire!  Try Grumpystumpy.com then select England, then Bedfordshire and it should take you into Whipsnade Zoo.

(In the midst of amending when net went loopyand kicked me out so sorry for delay!)

Su

Also this http://www.frithphotos.com  (Again apologies not a good evening for links for me!) Then put in Whipsnade!

I seen at least five good photos what  a joy, but I must tell you I found much more then my zookeeper the old photos of Dunstable & Luton they are of great interest to me.Oh by the way I to remembered Valli the elephant .Once again thank you so much for this link.
