Please if anyone has a copy of the 1841 Shropshire census and could look up a John Troth for me I would be very grateful.
I just wanted to let you know That a very kind man has searched Billingsley, Worfield and Broseley 1841 Shropshire census for me, No Troths at all.
Thanks to everyone who looked for me, I think I'll have to try Bridgnorth next.
I have him on the 1851 census in Worfield a servant/ Farm aged 19. and place of birth looks like Billingsley although it is hard to make out.
On 1871 census he is living in Kemberton with his wife Sarah and children he puts his birth place down as Worfield, A kind man has already checked Worfield 1841 but could not find him.
Any help in tracking him down would be great as he was born before registration I cannot send for his birth certificate, I have searched the LDS IGI site for his christening and cannot find him or any other Troth's in that area.
I have found an entry for his marriage to Sarah 23/02/1858 at Much Wenlock.
And the entries for their children.
But I really want to pin point his place of birth so I can locate his christening record.
