Hastie family Berwick
« on: Monday 24 March 08 17:26 GMT (UK) »
I am looking for the births of the children of Rachel and James Hastie of Tweedmouth .They are all entered on the census from 1841 onwards first being Mary 1832 . The only one I can find a birth registration for is Mary Ann b. 1851.

Hi Heather,

Would you like to give the rest of the children's names and approx birthdates?

Ok, I've looked at the census!

Here's your first one, you'll only find birth registrations after Sept 1837, this is from the Tweedmouth Bishop's Transcripts:

bapt 19 Oct 1831 Mary daughter of James & Rachel Hastey, Tweedmouth, Blacksmith

edit: the BTs I'm looking at jump from 1836-1866 so can't find later baptisms in them, sorry
