Hi Pete

Thanks for the information which I have seen on the Bishop's transcripts.
The one person whose birth I can't find is Jeffrey son of Jeffrey and Mary Poole nee Lloyd - he must've been baptised somewhere else.  So have no birth date for him except 1807 Salop, Shrewsbury which comes from 1851 census.
He became a chemist and married the Mary Powell dau. of a chemist William Powell in 1838.  They moved to Brighton, Sussex.  My ggrandfather John Powell Poole was born there in 1846.

If Jeffrey's father was a farmer why did he move and where to?  On Jeffrey's marriage he stated that his father was a farmer.

You have confirmed some of the parishes, and also the birth of Elizabeth.

Many thanks for the information.

Janette
