Coal House - real people travelled back in time to live in 1927, in real miner's cottages with all the period clothes, food, utensils etc. and working down the pit.

Truly wonderful.   It was on for nearly three weeks in half hour episodes every day, far too short for most people watching it.  You can pick it up on sky freeview etc.  Recommended.
