« on: Tuesday 25 March 08 22:54 GMT (UK) »
Hi All

I am trying to find out more information about William Biggs who died on a G7
Submarine on the 1st Nov 1918.

He apparently got the D.S.M.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Ady

I have downloaded the information now.

It says the last ship he was on was called Titania.

Not sure if that was a submarine or not where my friend got the
information that is what he was on at time of death.

Will have to ask him.

It also noted that he had a G120.4.11 (over 1) and a g1. 18.4.1618(over 2)
badges unless that information is in the wrong area.

Hi from Googling Titania i think it was a submarine supply ship however CWGC says he went down with G7 1st Nov 1918.
Im not brilliant with RN Records but if you could post any of it im sure youd get a good response..if you can decypher the horrible writing!!
