Trying to find William Ebenezer Morgan From Wales
He was a Regimental Sergeant Major
any help would be appreciated

Hopefully the photo will work this time!

William Was in Wales 1891 have the census cant find him in 1901 census
He was living in South Africa from 1906 found him there
that is all the info that I have Sorry

father david and mother elizabeth(?) on 1891 census ?

He was 46 when he Died so around 1927-28
He had a son David Walter Morgan married in 1928 but William had already died by then

Hi tawe !

You maybe aware that ^60% of the WW1 Service records were lost in the German Bombings of 1940, so, we rely on The Medal Index cards as a first port of call. 

The National Archives show 40 "William E Morgan"s There are no RSM's that I can find.  The nearest  rank I can find is 201914 Serjeant and he would not appear to be yours unless you recognise an address in Hanwell W7 ???

The other place to look would be pension records, which also are at The National Archives.

Like Wendi I could not find a William Morgan with the rank of RSM on the medal index cards.  However, I did find this one with the rank of Quartermaster which is just a few ranks below,  :-\:
