Hi, 1 of my ancestors married a moore, early 1800's in pitminster.

HI, my family name was  Moore and they origanally came from Yatton..perhaps there is a link somewhere. ! Albert  dob 1872 . had a father Joseph and grandfather Joseph does this tally with you line?Cheers stel. ???

Hi Stel,

Its not much use in your present enquiry, but there is a wonderful site that deals with all the parishes in the Portbury Hundred - www.portbury-hundred.co.uk - at present its transcription of Yatton baptisms stops at 1820. There is a Moore family there, but I couldn't see a Joseph
