Ellen Carr

Hi,

Ive just found a missing relative on familysearch,

She is Ellen Carr and was Christened on Silkstone, Barnsley on 24th December 1843. batch no C018812

Her parents were William Carr and Mary Carr.

Other than this record, which is extracted and not submitted, I can't find any trace of her at all.

I can't see her birth or death, and she doesn't appear with the rest of the family on the 1851 census. ( 2334/82/3)

Has anyone any ideas?

Hi Jen,

Found this birth on FreeBMD:

Ellen Carr    Dec 1843    Ecclesfield   22  149

Barnsley  and Silkstone are  in the Ecclesfield registration district.

There are also 2 Ellen Carr deaths  Sep 1844 and Sep 1845, both in the Ecclesfield district.  Too early for the ages to be listed in the index.
