Where is Elzabeth BINT Hiding?
« on: Friday 28 March 08 22:01 GMT (UK) »
I am unable to find Elizabeth Bint on the 1851 census. Elizabeth was christened on the 15th Nov 1840 - Holy Trinity, Bengeo, Hertford (IGI). She was the daughter of John Bint and Sarah, John was a carpenter. Elizabeth appears on the 1841 census Benges Hertfordshire with her parents. I believe that John died in 1849 in Hertford and Sarah died in 1860 in St. Albans. I have search for both Elizabeth and her mother but have not been able to find them in 1851, I know Elizabeth married a William Cave in 1860

I would appreciate any help in trying to locate Elizabeth.

regards
Steve

Hi Steve,
I have spotted an Elizabeth and Sarah living in Abbot's Langley.Sarah is aged 32,widowed and has some kind of job in a factory.Elizabeth is aged 10 and a scholar. It just says that she was born in Hertford but i can't read what it says for her mother.
It has been transcribed as BINS but it looks like Bint to me!
Hope that helps..Flo'
