Lots of STRETCH's in the cheshire area.Would love to hear from someone else who has to spell their surname everytime someone ask's you what it is.......

I have a Jane stretch born ABT 1824
Whitegate, Over, Cheshire who was my many times grt grandmother in my tree ............my surname isn't stretch but it's equally as bad!
Wilson in the Lancaster area
Clegg in Todmorden
Adamson in Edinburgh
Miller in Edinburgh
Nunn in Norfolk and Co Durham
Smith in Glasgow
Haig in Peebles/Edinburgh
Also Nelson, Gardener, Garnett, Blair, Coleman, Aaronson and many more as the branches expand!

Whitegate/Cuddington are the main Stretch area's.

I dont have a Jane Stretch c1824.  Which Stretch's are her Parents?

My connection is via William and Martha Stretch of Whitegate, and their son Joseph b1802 who married Zipprovah Wakefield. 
What a shame, I think I've got problems......  Zippy Stretch.......  bet she was tough as nails with a name like that to contend with.

I don't know Jane's parent's but she married Charles Bradshaw on 29 Dec 1844 (details provided by someone else - I haven't seen the records) @ St Mary's Whitegate
