Hello, could someone please look up John Hayes (or Hays) born ab. 1823 in Farnsfield or Kirklington, he should be unmarried. Thanks!

Thanks for that!! Am I right in guessing that they rounded the age up (or down?) to nearest 10 in the 1841 census? If that's the case, would you know happened to teenagers and children? I'm wondering whether it's likely that John Hayes would have been a male servant in his brother Samuel's house, what do you think?

 Ages are usually rounded down to five in 1841 but the stated ages are often unreliable for various  reasons. I took it to mean that John was with his brother but that depends on how much you know about his family.
