there are 2 Jessie listed, a few John. also a daughter of John and a daughter of Samuel....just put in the surname only for more results...  J.J.

Might have found him as SAMUEL MCLACHLAN  ( Dec. 16  1935)
they will do a lookup for a small fee...

I've had a look but it looks like you have to be a resident of canada to buy online, unfortunately i don't know anyone in canada, it does look like the samuel mclachlan is probably the correct one though, i expect i'll have to wait and see if |Ancesty put anything online in the future.

I found it on ancestry.ca   They just released the indexed version of the Drouin Collection recently.

Just looked up that death that JJ posted for 1935

Samuel McLachlan of the City of Montreal, 16th day of October, 1935, aged 39 years and buried in Mt. Royal Cemetery on the 18th day of the same month. 

In the pressence of Robina McLachlan and Johnann McIntosh.
