Hi Diana,

I only have one ancestor as far as I'm aware living in Romford.  His name was Henry Richard Wright born 1882.  He married Annie Thomas in 1912.  They had 2 children: Joyce b1913 and Margaret who I think was born in 1926 (a big age gap!).  Margaret married a guy called Ronald Avery and that's all I know about them.  Do get in touch again if you recognise these names.  Best wishes

I don't recognise his name but do you know who his father was?  I have some male Wrights but no marriages or family for them yet.  Do you know whereabouts he lived in Romford?

I don't know Henry's address in Romford but his father's name was Alfred Wrecks Wright and he was born in Finsbury St Luke (London).

Hi Alison,

It doesn't look like your Wrights are connected to mine.  However, I do have the index for the Crow Lane Burials in Romford and there are some Wrights on there that match.  There is a death for Alfred Wright - birth was 1867 which matches one of yours and also a son called Alfred Thomas Wright which might match.  Also an Annie on there. Common name Wright so could be coincidences but...just in case!
