The Earsdon section of GenUKI tells me that Newcastle City Liobrary holds some MIs

I'm looking for Dorothy Armstrong wife of Rewcastle Armstrong (the only one in the world) he was a mariner and was buried at St Albans, Earsdon on June 5th 1834 and was from South Blyth.

From transcribed index of "Earsdon Parish Christenings,Marriages and Burials 1813-1839...

I saw Rewcastle Armstrong's burial as you quoted... plus age at death "59 years"

But I saw no sign of Dorothy Armstrong in that era.

So it looks as though she died later than 1839 (or died outside the territory of Earsdon Parish)
