Northern District of Aberdeen Cemetries
« on: Thursday 03 April 08 18:52 BST (UK) »
Hi
Can anybody help identify what cemetries would have been used if death registered in Northern District.

Cheers

For my family tree member who died  1960 , Aberdeen Northern District , the place of burial was Allenvale Cemetery.

If you have the person's name and date of death, try here :-

http://www.anesfhs.org.uk/databank/miindex/miindex.php

leaving the "year" and "burial ground" blank. You may get a list of several buriels which you will have to go through.
It may, or may not be there.

Have you tried https://www.deceasedonline.com/ ? Some if not all Aberdeen City burials are there.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.
