Hello, yes my James, my gt grandfather was married to Amanda Mooney of Todmorden! I have the marriage cert.
I have been trying to find info. on Thomas for ages and have been given the same one as you, born in Chatham, Kent. If you look at my request in the Lancashire forum , 'Salford 1861/71 Census Lookup, please' you will see the info I have been given.
Could you give me the details of James birth cert. and the number for ordering, please. I was under the illusion he was born in 1854, but that was working on dates on his grave in Manchester.
