Warrington church records 1800-1830
« on: Tuesday 08 April 08 19:33 BST (UK) »
Hello all

I am feeling a bit down having searched fruitlessly for various christening/marriage records in St Elphins, Warrington.

I know Holy Trinity was established in 1709 but does anyone know what other churches were around then and where the records for HT and the other churches are?

I'm looking for christenings in Warrington for: -

Alice Halliwell in or around 1825 (1841 census gives her age as 15 but she was the witness to a wedding in 1839); and

Richard and William Armitage born about 1825 and 1830 respectively; and

The marriage of David Halliwell (born 1779 Christened Manchester Cathedral) around 1800/05.

Any help gratefully received.

Carole

Thank you for letting us know about the Lancs OPC website.  I've just found loads of relatives in the Births, Marriages and Deaths in Dalton in Furness.

Lizzie
