Carbondale, PA and Windsor NY are only 55 miles apart.  Have you contacted the local registrars office in Windsor to see what they have to say?  I know for some birth, death and marriages in small town New York I've called directly and they just go and grab the books while you're on the phone.

No....Great Idea!!! Have emailed the Broome County Historian, the other day to see what I could find out from him.......I had applied and paid a fee for a search with the Stated Dept of Vital Statistics.... I'll see if I can find a number and call them....

I had tried to search for Minnie's birth, a few years ago...someone had emailed me and said that New York did'nt register births in 1874/76????

So, back to your Mr. McPherson then in the meantime.....

I did tell them about the red ink....she did'nt comment on it, originallly I thot "Red Ink" would not have been available at that time....but, have come to find I was wrong.....Thomas Jefferson wrote entries in his works in Red ink in the 1700's....

Yes, Back to Mr. McPherson....
Would be fab if the Windsor Clerk finds the entry and it has "real" parents listed!!! I can only hold my breath and hope.....

Thanks again
Wendy

Hi Karen...

Apparently the library does'nt have land records???? Have to go to the Land registry office on Stone Road????  Have you ever looked at the Assessment rolls?...Looked at the Land Atlas, the area where 414 Eramosa Road was in 1909/1910, is a farm...but does'nt have the owner listed.....figures....nothing surprises me with this family.....
