The Last Will and Testament of William Howe HADFIELD dated 1854 is for sale. The testator died 23 March 1854 and Probate was declared 17 November 1855.
The Will is 'copperplate' hand written with embellishments on vellum measuring 650mm x 530mm with attached probate document with Great Seal of the Prerogative Court of the Archbishop of Canterbury.
A wonderful piece of documentary history as well as an invaluable document to any HADFIELD with ancestral links to Edale, Derbyshire via the Isle of White, London and New Zealand.
