Hi there,

As per your PM I had a look at the shipping schedule and found for myself that Florinda came with her daugher (Antonia Schiavone, aged 2) as you said.  There is no Umberto Schiavone on the US 1910 census so he may have already left for the UK.  The manifest says Florinda was going to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and gave her contact at home as her mother Maddelena 'something' (not Cocozza anyway).  Florinda could not read or write but I don't know if that was just confined to
English or in general.  Hmmm..that's all so far.  Will keep an eye out.
