Samuel HARVEY bapt request
« on: Saturday 12 April 08 10:47 BST (UK) »
please can anyone help, looking for baptism for Samuel Harvey born 27th November 1828, at Trowbridge, wiltshire. searched the census for him but found two and cannot distinguish which one is him without his parents names. I know this is his birth day due to his Army record and later census all have Trowbridge on. Thankyou to anyone who can help..

Only one Samuel Harvey found in Trowbridge in 1851 census and his birth year is shown as 1822.   Would this be your man?

Cheers Dave

hi  dave, thanks for looking at the census but he joined the army at the age of 17 canterbury, kent and was posted abroad. I have his army records which records his date of birth and place and where he was posted. He doesnt return to our census until 1871. I thought i would try and find him in 1841 but without parents names it becomes difficult. I really need his baptism but thanks again for replying and even looking. ;D
