Maybe its an error then because it certainly comes up on the FREEBMD website for the same quarter! Oh well, problem solved!!

The full GRO death index for the quarter shows only one Charlotte Cookson - aged 30, Preston 8e 461. No Charlotte Elizabeth Cookson.

The only other Cookson deaths in Preston that quarter are Edward Knowles Cookson aged 0, Preston 8e 443 and Margaret Ellen Cookson aged 0, Preston 8e 423.
