Hi Maxene,

Is this your Edward ?

Edward Griffin christened February 7th 1813 at Neen Savage, Shropshire; parents Thomas Griffin and Elizabeth.

( NEEN-SAVAGE, (or Upper Neen), a parish in the hundred of Stottesdon, county Salop, 1 mile N. of Cleobury-Mortimer, its post town, and 12 miles W. of Kidderminster. Description from The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland (1868))

If so, this is the family:
Parents Thomas Griffin and Elizabeth:-

Jane Griffin - Christened 4th June 1809
John Griffin – Chr. 23rd September 1810
Edward Griffin – Chr. 7th February 1813
Richard Griffin – Chr. 23rd November 1814
Joseph Griffins – Chr. 21st November 1815

All christenings at Neen Savage, Shropshire.

Regards,
Maurice

Hello Maurice - I am not sure if it is "my" Edward. I have his birth or christening as being C 7th June, 1809. He died in Australia in 1850 and his age at death was registered as 41 years old. The only info I have about his parents is that Thomas the father was a blacksmith. Thomas married Mary Ann Farmer in C1833 in Worcestershire. Thanks for your help. Maxene
