A sad story
« on: Monday 14 April 08 12:58 BST (UK) »
At a boot sale I purchased a box of old photos, amongst them I found a newspaper cutting which I am posting, it is such sad story. I am also posting a few of the pics. The family name seems to be Boyt. The family seem to come from the New Forest area, one picture has beach huts in the back ground so it maybe Sandbanks or New Milton, both places are close to the New Forest. The faded photo of a couplewas taken n A Southampton Studio (Douglas Studio 74, St Mary"s Rd) Sad that a family history should end up at a boot sale. If anyone has any connection or needs to see anymore pics, please PM me.

That is sad Pandora......

Apparently Sidney Wood won Wimbledon in 1931 and reached the finals of the Davis Cup in 1934, so I guess that might narrow down the date for the cutting...
