Isabella Clarke....Queens/County Laois
« on: Monday 14 April 08 17:54 BST (UK) »
Hi there

I am hoping somebody may be able to help with this quest.

I am looking for the parents of Isabella Clarke born 22 Aug 1838 in Queens.
Her parents would of been William Clarke born abt 1818.  Her mother Elizabeth born abt 1820.

I am really looking to confirm the maiden name of her mother, as this will either confirm or eliminate her from my link.  There is alot of mystery surrounding my Isabella Clarke, hence this just might be the one I am looking for.  Sorry, I have no further information.

Many thanks.
Kim

I don't know the maiden name of Eliza/Elizabeth, but I think there is a good chance that this is a second marriage for Wm Clarke. See my info on his first wife and family at:

and the family of Wm and Eliza is at:

The names of their children could be a clue to Elizabeth's father's first name. If this is a second marriage for Wm, then their eldest son could be named for her father? Alternatively, could her father be John Parnell? And could her mother have been Isabella?

No real answer to your question--just more questions!
