According to Scotlands People he was baptised 17th June 1747, Reay. His father was Patrick Campbell. Is that the information that you need or are you looking for a marriage/other children?

Patrick appears to have had three children baptised in Reay:

your Robert and:

2 Jan 1750 - James
10 April 1755 - Kathrine

No mothers name given and I can't find a marriage at the moment  :-\

Have Roberts father as Patrick but no wife for him. Do you know if Roberts wife's maiden name was also Campbell

Hi Frank

do you have Robert's children's names in birth order - it might help to get a short list of possible mothers?

That's just what I was needing, Frank. Though, interestingly, there is no Patrick or Peter or even Robert.

Normal naming conventions don't seem to apply  :(

This is a puzzle  :-\
