Sometimes you wonder why people moved from one place to another.

I find that I'm blkinkered by modern roads & it pays to travel round areas you are researching on B roads & some that have been missed from larger maps.  You can understand how people in earlier centuries just walked over a couple of hills from one county to another with a lot less effort than modern people sticking to roads.

You'll have some very interesting trips but your car might not be too happy!!!
