 Could anyone help me?  I am looking for any information on my gg grandparents, James Anderson and Barbara Nichols married around 1871 Alwinton Northumberland.

If so, the certificate should provide information about their ages, addresses and occupations and their respective fathers‘ names and occupations. The names of the witnesses might also be helpful.

Just a thought....

If you know that they are your great great grandparents, you must presumably also know the name of at least one of their children who was your great grandparent.

Do you think that it might help us to find them if we also knew about this child and any other details that you already have or did they move overseas soon after the wedding, making it irrelevant ?
