Aghadowey, Covenant is spot on Thats G/grandfather and G/ granmother ,Grandfather & bros Joe and frederick J. I tried states but I had no sucess because I have no record when he went except sometime during the 20's troubles and when he died, funny when he married in states his wife was called Mary to

Hi Maryderry, I have that from Nat. Archives but tried to confirm it with the regimental museum but withou sucess but I believe it to be correct.

What state did Frederick live in?- might make it easier to locate him with more information. Also, what was gthe date and place of 2nd marriage (and bride's name)?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi Maryderry Jane Smylie & Joseph Radcliffe is correct Their Father were both called John and were labourers Thats all I have found at present

AllI know is that he Lived in New York state and his 2nd wife was called Mary. .He was also Lt Commander in US Navy in 2nd WW. I tried the american Naval records without sucess. unfortunately my mother and g/parents are dead with out written records of Frederick whom I'm called after.
