Can anybody help me find out some information on John and Kezia Farrington from Cambridge please.
I would like to find a death for John Farrington from Cambs.
I do not have his Date of Birth. He died before 1843.
I do not know when and where he married, but his wife 's christian name was KEZIA (I do not know her maiden surname as I cannot find their marriage on the IGI)
Kezia married John Farrington and had several children. John had died before 1851 as she remarried on 11 July 1843 to a William WASHTELL in All Saints Cambs.
In the 1851 census Kezia 38, was living at Gwydier Place with her husband William WASHTELL 31, Elizabeth 5, Henry 4 and Eliza 1. William says that also in the house are son and daughter in laws - but these are his step children from Kezias first marriage - Sarah Farrington 15, Emma Farrington 14, Stuart 13, William 12 and John 9. The ref no is HO107/1760/63A Cambridge St Pauls.
Can anybody help me to see if we can find a marriage between a KEZIA and a John Farrington before 1843 , John's death date. and if possible an 1841 census look up. I am not sure if John had died by the 1841 census, so Kezia may be a widow - but should be using the surname FARRINGTON.
On the Cambs FHS 1841 census look up there are some Farrington names
There is a Sarah and Emma Farrington in Caldecote HO107/68/3 3A
There is also a Kezia aged 27 in Cambridge Holy Trinity H)107/86/16 8A with
John 3 William 2.
I found two of the children namely Emma Burrel Farrington born 15 2 1837 Cambs and Sarah Ann Farrington christened 20 12 1835 Cambs with the parents John and Kezia Farrington on the IGI, so that is how I am picked up the father of John Farrington.
Would anybody have these census entries so that I can see exactly who is living together.
