this is a strange finding. I dont have any record of an
Alfred being born to Sarah and John Farrington.

This baptism is obviously after Kezia married William Washtell in July 1843, as the baptism is in the December!

I wonder if this Alfred died as he is not on the 1851 census with Kezia and William,  or perhaps this is the John (not Alfred John ) aged 9 in the 1851 census. That would make his DOB 1842. 


By the way did you notice the discrepancy of ages of William and John on the 1841 census when they are both 3, and on the 1851 census, William is 12 and John 9!
