Seeking any information on Mary Ann Cowell b circa 1860 Witham, partner/husband of James Donovan (no marriage  as yet found) I have the 1891 and 1901 census details for her but cannot identify her prior to this.
Fitzgerald/Mullane/Riordan/Heaphy/Barrett, O'Brien, Doneraile area
McCormack/ Brophy/Egan/Gavin,  Tullamore area
McCormack, Corr, Dublin
Hennessey and Heaphy in South Wales Valleys

I'm not sure if my Cowell is from Essex. I only know that his name was William Cowell, born in England ca1814/15. He came to Canada and married Carolyn ? who was born in New Brunswick. They had quite a few children born in Ontario. Does any of this sound familiar please?

I am also researching the Fitzgerald surname. My great grandfather was Edmond F. b. ca1859.
