1869 birth cert quest

Hi

I'm helping somebody with their family history and have found the following IGI entries for her ancestors - parents were Adam Colgan/Colgin and Rose Anna Kerr. 

Robert was their only surviving child and it is his birth cert I need advice on obtaining.  Can anybody tell me where she needs to apply.  The family were RC and the IGI entry is the only info available re: county of origin

ROBERT JOHN COLGAN Birth: 12 DEC 1869 Armagh, Ireland
THOMAS COLGAN Birth: 12 DEC 1869 Armagh, Ireland

ADAM COLGAN Birth: 12 JAN 1872 Antrim, Ireland

There is no census info which shows specifically where either Adam or Rose were born - just says Ireland - so would she be able to ask for a marriage record search as it's likely they married after 1864

marriage. ADAM COLGAN TO ROSANNA KERR 14-9-1868. @ AHOGHILL 1ST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, AHOGHILL, BALLYMENA, ANTRIM.

births. ROBERT JOHN 12-12-1869. THOMAS 12-12-1869. ADAM 12-1-1872. ALL BORN BALLYMENA, PORTGLENONE, ANTRIM.

parents. ADAM COLGAN & ROSE ANNA KERR.

Hi Mary

Thank you for the marriage details.  The IGI shows that Robert & Thomas were born in Armagh and only Adam was b Antrim.  Is this an IGI error?

the info i have is from emerald ancestors, i have never known it to be wrong.

was the info you got from family search submitted or extracted only the extracted ones can be believed.
