William John Bratty born c 1871 Co. Derry....would some kind person see if they can find a birth please? Or anything relevant???

Hello Glynis,

There were three Bratty families in Ireland when the Valuations took place between 1848 -64. They are listed in the Co. Armagh extracts for 1864 ...

John Bratty, Markethill, Bunkers Hill, Kilclooney. Armagh
Hans Bratty, Markethill, Bunkers Hill, Kilclooney. Armagh
John Bratty, Killyreavy, Derrynoose. Armagh

It would possibly be easier to trace your William John if you knew more about him ... his denomination would be a good starting point. The townland and parish where he was born would make matters much easier.
