I ordered three death certificates and a marriage certificate that had a despatch date of April 18.  The death certificates arrived on April 22nd and the marriage on the 23rd.

I have had a cert today which I ordered on the 14th so thing are moving better now I think.

Are you still waiting Ruby?

I have had a certificate which I ordered 22nd April and was told despatch date would be 28th.....It arrived today the 28th!!!   Well done Southport.  ;D

That's excellent service, Rosie!  Generally, I think the GRO is most efficient with the despatch of certificates.

Sorry Willow, I should have replied to you as it was your post. :(

That isn't good that you are still waiting, perhaps it's the postal service and it's floating around somewhere, probably with some plants that were despatched to me last Monday and haven't arrived yet.

I think it needs chasing now though as they are obviously on top of things at Southport.
