Alexander Harper and Elspeth farquhar

Both born in Caithness c1730 - 1740 but I cannot find anything on either. Any help much appreciated

One of my ggggg grandmothers is an Elspet Farquhar from Wick, b1737, married Alexander Oag.

I'll need to check source but I suspect that this is only from IGI and as yet unproven.  I'll try and look tonight but may have to leave until weekend.

Nothing for Harper.

One thing that sticks in my mind is that it was spelled differently - Fraquhar I think.

Farquhar + Oag:   I too have turned up these names as g-g-g-g-g-grandparents.
